Our Task

The Salzburg State Theatre is a listed building and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Historic Centre of the City of Salzburg. The building houses drama, ballet and musical theatre. In October 1971, the theatre received a classical studio stage in the former Mirabellcasino under the name “Kammerspiele”, which is now used for contemporary and classical drama.
While the building is needed for the annual Salzburg Festival in the summer, the “Großes Festspielhaus” and the “Haus für Mozart” are also other venues of the Salzburg State Theatre at this time.
In 2022, the renovation of the stage technology was realized. This included the dismantling of galleries, drives in the upper and lower machinery as well as control cabinets. Among other things, the brochure trains, the portal trains, the forestage trains and lighting trains were renewed. In the sub-machinery, the revolving platform and the podiums were renovated as well as parts of the drive systems of the podiums. The entire new system will be integrated and controlled into the C⋅A⋅T V5 controller.
