Festspielhaus St. Pölten

In addition to dance and orchestral music, the Festspielhaus St. Pölten is home to the world’s best Cirque Nouveau companies as well as jazz and world music. Since its foundation in 1997, it has been one of the most striking Austrian theatre buildings.

The building consists of four halls of different sizes and is therefore suitable for events of all kinds. The large hall has a seating capacity of 1,063 people. The small hall is mainly used for chamber music events. In addition to the halls listed above, there are also rehearsal stages 1 and 2 for events on a smaller scale.

During the renovation of the stage technology, the brochure trains, the heavy-duty trains, the zero-aisle hoists and some more were renewed. The existing chain hoists and the sound curtain have also been integrated into the C⋅A⋅T V5 control system.

In just 5 months, the renovation was implemented, and the house could resume its operation in October 2022.
